***It is important to clarify that, for vital emergencies, TRIAGE I and II care must be mandatory.

Triage I: requires immediate attention. The clinical condition of the patient represents a vital risk and he needs resuscitation maneuvers due to his ventilatory, respiratory, hemodynamic or neurological compromise, loss of a limb or organ, or other conditions that normally require immediate attention..

Triage II:the clinical condition of the patient can evolve towards rapid deterioration or death, or increase the risk of losing a limb or organ, therefore, it requires attention that should not exceed thirty (30) minutes. The presence of extreme pain according to the classification system used should be considered as a criterion within this category.

Triage III:the clinical condition of the patient requires diagnostic and therapeutic measures in the emergency room. They are those patients who need a complementary examination or rapid treatment, since they are stable from the physiological point of view, although their situation may worsen if no action is taken.

Triage IV: the patient presents medical conditions that do not compromise their general condition, nor do they represent an obvious risk to life or loss of limb or organ. However, there are risks of complication or sequelae of illness or injury if you do not receive proper care.
