Hospital Serena del Mar Receives Silver Certification in Person-Centered Care Excellence by Planetree International
Hospital Serena del Mar, was recognized with the Silver Certification in Person-Centered Care, awarded by Planetree International, a non-profit organization with more than 40 years of experience, a pioneer and world leader in the promotion of humanized care models.
Its certification validates the implementation of safe, participatory, and collaborative practices within health systems, transforming the care experience and strengthening trust and respect in the relationship between patients, families, and professionals.
This recognition highlights the Hospital commitment to providing more humane, empathetic, safe, and respectful care, in which patients, their families, and the health team are active participants in the process.
What does this recognition mean?
The Planetree Silver Certification validates the Hospital Serena del Mar has successfully implemented person-centered care practices, standing out in five key aspects:
