Description
We are seeking an International Business Leader in Healthcare, who will be responsible for leading the international business strategy and executive review process, forging strategic alliances to position the hospital as a leading healthcare destination.
We are looking for a highly interpersonal individual with a strategic vision, a results-oriented approach, and strong international business development skills.
Purpose of the position
- Co-design and execute the business plan, prioritizing markets and segments for medical tourism and related tourism.
- Ensure compliance with established business KPIs.
- Manage strategic agreements with stakeholders in the health tourism market to expand the export coverage of healthcare services.
- Establish and strengthen commercial alliances with international payers, insurers, governments, cruise lines, maritime agencies, TPAs (Transportation Protection Agencies), healthcare entities, academic institutions, medical professionals, concierges, and others.
- Represent the hospital institutionally before international stakeholders.
- Analyze and manage strategic information on markets, channels, countries, and procedures to maximize commercial performance.
- Evaluate international tourism trends and benchmark national and international prices.
- Manage and monitor billing and accounts receivable for international patients.
- Support the international patient experience, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and compliance with Net Promoter Score indicators.
- Ensure coordination with our operator's international office, the Santa Fe de Bogotá Foundation, to strengthen our joint positioning in the international market.
- Submit management and results reports to the Deputy Director of Operations and Sales and the Director.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in services, ideally in the healthcare, hospitality, and/or tourism sectors internationally.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Valid US visa.
- Availability for frequent travel.
