Due to her age and other medical conditions, the medical team determined that traditional open-heart surgery carried a very high risk. After analyzing her case in a medical-surgical board meeting, it was decided to perform a transcatheter aortic valve implantation, a minimally invasive technique that allows the damaged valve to be replaced without opening the chest.

The procedure was successful and without complications. Henrietta recovered quickly: within a few weeks, she was breathing normally again, resuming her daily activities, and enjoying her life without pain or visible scars.
